Technical updates: 2025 Dutch Grand Prix
Three teams have brought new parts to the Dutch Grand Prix as the Formula 1 season resumes after the summer break.
With 10 rounds to go of the current era of car, there are limited developments still being introduced, with Red Bull the only race-winning team to bring a single upgrade. A new front wing features longer chord front wing flaps, with the team saying the Zandvoort demands “require the flap elements to have extended chords to increase the load available via angle.”
Elsewhere, there is also a small update introduced by Alpine, where the rear corner has been focused on ahead of this weekend. The team describes its changes as an "update to the rear brake duct furniture," including a set of reprofiled winglets that are designed to improve the rear wheel wake management.
Alpine is not the only team working on its rear brake ducts. Sauber (pictured above), which has shown impressive development so far this season and is on a run of six straight point-scoring finishes, has updated the design of the rear brake duct vanes.
“The changes to the rear brake duct vane affect the flow field around the rear of the car, local to diffuser and rear wheels,” the team explained.
No other teams have bought new parts to Zandvoort as many turn their focus fully to the 2026 car development, although a number of circuit-specific changes are expected at next weekend’s low-drag venue of Monza.
