Porsche’s Andlauer to miss Petit Le Mans

Porsche Penske Motorsport driver Julien Andlauer will not run in today’s Motul Petit Le Mans due to a medical emergency.

Andlauer was due to drive the No. 6 Porsche Penske Motorsport 963 alongside GTP championship leaders Mathieu Jaminet and Matt Campbell.

Laurens Vanthoor, already entered in the No. 7 Penske Porsche with Felipe Nasr and Nick Tandy, will now drive both factory Porsche 963s. He will be required to achieve the minimum drive time in each car, but will only be eligible to score championship points in the No. 7 car which he was originally entered in.
