Acura MSR retains full-time drivers for 2026

After a strong first season as a two-car team, Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian has announced it will retain drivers Tom Blomqvist, Colin Braun, Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly for the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

Blomqvist and Braun will continue to drive the No. 60 Acura ARX-06 for their third season together. They finished second in the Rolex 24 At Daytona, kicking off a successful first year back for Acura MSR in IMSA. Blomqvist and Braun went on to win the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen, and also finished second at Indianapolis.

Van der Zande and Yelloly will return to drive the No. 93 Acura, which is engineered by Honda Racing Corporation USA. In their first season together, van der Zande and Yelloly won on the streets of Detroit, and also had podiums at Sebring and Road America. Acura MSR also combined for four pole positions across its two cars and helped lead Acura to a close second in the GTP manufacturers’ championship.

“I’m really looking forward to 2026 and in many ways, there is no off-season,” said Blomqvist. “We’ve already started preparing and bringing back the same roster, which will be a huge advantage. Everyone on the team has the talent and drive, and with HRC behind us, there’s no reason we can’t bring home the 2026 championship.”

Driver announcements for the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup will be made at a later date.
